UND takes down Boston U 4-2. One of the best hockey games I have seen in awhile. Sophomore Connor Gaarder records a natural Hat Trick.

A little more than a month into the season and BC sits atop the polls. Michigan has plummeted to unranked, Miami is at #4, and Ohio State is (so far) holding their own in conference.

Has college hockey attendance gone up because of the strike in the NHL?

Tough to say. Through the short 2012-2013 season it's an average 3,517 attendance in 324 games played. In 2011-2012 it was average 3,731 for 1,028 games (source: http://www.uscho.com/stats/attendance/division-i-men/2011-2012/). Expect it will end up pretty similar.

Michigan and Michigan State tied for last in the CCHA :huh: Never thought I'd see that, UM's defense is beyond terrible. BG ripped them apart and has been on a roll lately

Crazy, especially since UM came into the year with such high hopes. Not looking good for the B1G next year, it'd be the third best conference this year if it were in place.

ND is very good yet they basically play a dead puck style with that trap. Lol I tried to comment to you last night but the OC was being stupid on my computer lol. I saw this on Thursday and thought it was awesome. I don't know how long I will be here in Huntsville but at least I should have some decent college hockey to watch. Fell asleep to the Miami Oh vs Wisky game last night. Some pretty good action but no scoring thru 1 and 2 and then I crashed.

It's women's hockey, but the Gophers just completed an undefeated, untied season with a national championship yesterday. 41-0-0 may be one of the most impressive accomplishments I've ever seen.

Anyway I want to be a homer and pick Miami to get to the Frozen Four but they really looked like absolute shit against Michigan in the CCHA semis. It was embarrassing and cost them a 1 seed.
