It's actually kind of dumb that they use the AP at all during the year because it means nothing in the grand scheme of things. I think it has more to do with them being all pissy at USA Today and the coaches poll (ESPN took their name off of the poll a few years ago)

Oh ok. It just seemed like this I see a bunch of Buck fans on FB and message boards posting it before every game like it was something new.
