I'd still start Guiton at Penn State and keep him in there if the Buckeyes can hang without Miller.
if Miller is good to go, you play him.

The MSU fans may have been right. I'm glad he's OK, and also glad OSU took all precautions possible, but jeez. Nothing wrong at all?

Anyone else think part of the reason the Buckeyes keep playing close games against these teams they usually blow out is they are just bored? I mean the Big 10 has quickly turned into a God awful conference, and the Buckeyes are so clearly the cream of the conference that I think it is just hard to keep getting up for these games against scrub teams week in and out.

I think if they weren't on probation this year and actually playing for something, or at least had to worry at the beginning of hte week about whether they were going to win the game or not because they didn't know they were better than the opponent, that we would see a more focused effort on a weekly basis.

I am definitely kind of over the big 10 right now as the Buckeyes seem to be the only program that hasn't gone down the shitter of mediocrity. Don't know how or when it happened, but it would be nice to have some legitimate national title contending teams to play occassionaly from the conference to look forward to soime big games. In the SEC, Pac 12 and Big 12 you don't look at your schedule and know ahead of time if you lose it was because you were disiniterested, and not because you had some legit competetion.

That is my rant, but I just kind of came away disgusted having to suffer through watching the Buckeyes play uninspired football against another of the Big 10's lowly scrub teams.

What scares me is with the way he was walking and acting, and the fact that the NCAA/B1G has no NFL style concussion policy to my knowledge, is there a chance he's not fully OK and just trying to come back early?

It's an odd situation. Could he have just had his bell rung, but not concussed? Maybe a stinger?

I felt it was ribs/lung also. It appeared he was gasping on the sidelines.

The fact that they took him to a hospital dismisses these fears for me. If it was just a situation where the player was trying to avoid trainers on the side line then I'd agree.

I wouldn't think an OSU star player would have a ton of trouble getting a doctor in Columbus, Ohio to sign off

Quite possible he did have a stinger. I remember I had one my freshman year and it was excruciatingly painful.

Never had one myself, but after watching how he landed and his obvious discomfort on the sidelines, I thought for sure his collarbone was shattered, all his shoulder ligaments were torn, and he had a severe concussion.

If he is indeed OK, I hope he learns how to get tackled without landing awkwardly all the time. Otherwise Kenny G may see the field a lot more.

I totally agree with IggyPride's post above about the Buckeyes looking bored sometimes. Really the biggest game they've played so far was Nebraska, and they seemed to rise to the occasion and play their best football. With the exception of Illinois, none of their last 4 games will be easy, however.

No, but it's possible he did have one though.

Also, Urban is quite fired up.

And FWIW, my point was that stingers don't usually result in trips in an ambulance. And if they do, it's right away with all precautions taken from the field... stabilization of the neck etc. It had nothing to do with Miller.

So don't get your panties all in a bunch.
