Good. Good riddance. If you're human and are stupid enough to eat roaches and worms, then you don't deserve to live on this planet.

I was wondering why we haven't heard from him :o
Broward County authorities say the winner of a roach eating contest died shortly after eating dozens of roaches and worms.
Several contestants ate insects to win a python, the grand prize of the Friday night contest at Ben Siegel Reptile Store in Deerfield Beach.
The Broward Sheriff's Office says the winner of the challenge, 32-year-old Edward Archbold, who also goes by the nickname "speedofsand", became ill soon after and collapsed in front of the store. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office said Monday it was waiting for an autopsy report to determine a cause of death.

I'm not GoChiefs, but yes.

If ingest poison intentionally, do I deserve to die?

You need to get over your obsession with GoChiefs. Or at least keep it in the basement.

It's relevant, Derpstin. It's a Darwin-award winner thread.

Will be interesting to see COD. No one else got sick (supposedly), so did this guy die simply from overeating (nothing to do with roaches, really) or some fluke?

Didn't someone die a while back on a radio contest to see how much water you could chug?

Not sure this one really qualifies. A Darwin award winner would eat them after killing them with raid.

people all over the world eat insects..not harmful at all. 29 other people ate the bugs so i doubt they were harmful at all. most likely he as some type of allergy to shelfish or roaches. some people are allergic to the compound in roach waste(i know this because of working in innercity schools) it could have caused a severe reaction and he could have aspirated from anaphalactic(sp?) shock or drown in own vomit? severe asthma attacK?

1:20 mark it hit him. I'm guessing the guy had a heart attack. He kept pounding on his chest like it was acting irregular.
