NC State is #16 after last night's loss (http://www.rpiforecast.com/live-rpi.html). And I included the games remaining to show how KU doesn't have the opportunities to pass them if Duke or Michigan doesn't lose - and also that Duke and Michigan are more likely to lose.SportsAndLady;1372584 wrote:1) I don't think how many 'tough' games they have remaining should be included in the argument of who should be #1 right now.
2) Both teams have equal victories, imo. Duke has one more top 25 win..but NC State will not be #16 anymore after a loss last night. That was not a good loss. Michigan lost at Ohio State, Kansas won that game going away.
There's no way you can make an argument that UM and Duke are ahead of KU in the standings right now. Especially considering KU hasn't lost since the 2nd game of the season.
