Anthony Bennett is nasty. The announcer just called him "Grandmama" after his last dunk. It was an appropriate comparison. Bennett just took off from the midway point from the three-point arc and the baseline key and then posterized a dude from Cali with a one-handed power dunk on top of his head. Awesome.

Cal up on Vegas, 73 to 72 with 30 seconds left.

Big win on the road for UNLV, beating a good Cal team on a near last-second tip in. Great game. Rebel freshman Anthony Bennett had a monster game for Vegas, tallying 25 points and 13 boards. He is the best newcomer in the front court in the country, IMO, and gets better with each game. Cannot wait to watch him do his thing in Chapel Hill. Despite the rough start to UNC's season, I fully expect a good matchup in late December, specifically between James McAdoo and Bennett.
