We've been gashed through the air and on the ground.Fly4Fun;1294898 wrote:Yes, OSU struggles against passing teams this year. But I wouldn't exactly call Robinson a good passer.
Against Miami (Oh) we gave up a 58 yard pass.
Against UCF we gave up a 48 yard run.
Against Cal we gave up an 81 yard run. (he had 4 carries for 160 yards and 2 tds)
Against UAB we gave up a 32 yard pass.
Against Michigan State we gave up a 29 yard run.
Against Nebraska we gave up a 73 yard run and a 74 yard pass.
Against Indiana we gave up a 59 yard run and a 76 yard pass.
We consistently give up big plays. (even to bad teams) I don't think Denard is a very consistent passer, but he is a big play passer and I could easily see him throwing deep and completing a few long tds and when the defense adjusts to play the pass he could gash them on the ground for some really long runs. If we don't get things fixed I will not be surprised at all if DR can put up 500 yards.
