the line is 9.5. Think the Browns actually could cover--in spite of four drops by Little, 9 rushing attempts by T-rich, and Patty being Patty. But picked the Giants as the team "assured to win" again in my pool.

Giants fan here ... with injuries on the defensive side of the ball, stranger things have happened. Browns need to pound the ball early and often, as the Giants tend to ware down in the 2nd half.
Eli Manning, despite a few mistakes per game, is playing at a different level right now. With Nicks out, they may try to establish the run more, but Hixon has done a solid job at WR2, and Bennett has shown he is more than the bust he was in Dallas.
My gut says Giants 31-Browns 17, but it could be closer.

Browns pass D will be the reason we lose this game (thanks Haden). Our offense should be pounding the ball all day, but I just don't see how we can keep up. As BigApple said, stranger things have happened.
I still thing we'll be keeping it close, but a touchdown loss is about the best I see (barring the strange bounce of the ball going our way with opportune turnovers). But, I don't feel a blowout is on the horizon.
And, we have a great record against defending Super Bowl champs.

It should be an semi good game. The Browns is going to lose tho. But they have a good team. I just think that the Giants is going to beat them.

Mo-Mass and Benjamin ruled out for tomorrow.
At this point I would be fine with cutting both of them as you can't try and build a core with guys like this that are injuries waiting to happen. Mo-Mass has a history of this, and Benjamin in his short time has shown that he has no desire to get hit and always seems to have some sort of ailment.
Both guys are talented, but I am over the perpetual state of what hang nail will they get that keeps them practicing or playing in a given week. We need guys we can count on to be there during the week at practice and then at the game on Sunday.

Our players will "battle" to a 31-9 loss, but they battled so Shurmur will be happy.
All 3 FG's from 50+ again, but at least they will be from the center of the field because they will play to line up the kick any time they get inside the 40.

WHAT? Benjamin is a rookie with 4 games under his belt. He's the only explosive player on that offense in the receiving corps.IggyPride00;1288566 wrote:Mo-Mass and Benjamin ruled out for tomorrow.

Trent needs more than 14 carries....SMH The offense has to stay on the field to keep the defense fresh. And we need to play TO free, as well as getting a couple breaks, to have a chance.
And I like TRich's confidence and the fact that he got into the heads of the Giants defense this week. Hopefully he backs it up.

Yeah, I think I'd rahter see a guy of that size being elusive versus trying to be a battering ram. If I recall, Eric Metcalf, Ice Cube McNeil and a few other smaller guys weren't exactly seeking out contact.

Got a tough trivia question at my backers bar: Only once has a browns qb taken all the snaps in a season (hint: his career began after 1970).
Also another hint is none of the new era QBs.
It is between Kosar and Sipe I can't figure it out.
