Eh... one of the last things I would think about doing is throwing ANYTHING at a cop. Not that I'm defending cops here, but I would not think about throwing anything at a cop if I didn't want some kind of trouble.

If you'll watch the video you'll notice she didn't throw water on him. She just happened to be the closest person to the group. Beat ya both too it. I watched it a second time and and saw that it was probably not her spray that got the guys attention hence the edit. I'm not one to defend cops all the time, but this was not entirely on the cop. You have a situation where you are obviously surrounded by people and there is the danger of everything escalating. Some liquid is thrown on the cops. You see a woman nearby who was a bit too close for comfort with a bottle...
You neutralize the threat.
I'm also just not one to rail on cops all the time.
It's situations like these where a crowd is starting to form and a lot of noise that are dangerous for cops. Things can escalate quickly.
