I -did- "do it all over again - was in transportation management, then went back to school for a second degree and went into health insurance risk management. Best thing I ever did for myself and my family in terms of money and "quality of life".

Nope. I do actually enjoy my job. Nope bad for a factory job and it pays pretty good. If I had to, I would find something a little more secure though. Kind of sucks worrying if/when your job is going to end up overseas.

I'd go to medical school. I have thought about it now but at age 25 I feel too old. I wouldn't get out until my young 30's (if I did at all).

Tough question. I like what I do, a lot, but sometimes I wonder what it would be like had I not been a lazy shit in college and stuck with petro engineering.

I work in corporate communications, but if I could do it all over again I would become an architect. I spent many hours during my childhood daydreaming up stuff like that on paper as a pretty decent young artist and I know it's something that I would have been happy doing. I was never great at mathematics or science, however, so I never pursued that path. A shoe designer, with the ultimate dream of working for Adidas or Nike, is something I wanted to be as a kid, as well, so apparently I decided that I would be happiest if I didn't follow any of my dreams.

As stated above, however, there are generally no do-overs in life and that's fine. Some things just aren't meant to be and you move on.

Yeah, I have to agree with this. My first year and a half of college, I just didn't care. Two of the three semesters, I had a GPA under 2.0, but it was because I never did my homework and still passed every test pretty easily (C or above).

Yeah, I was a 1.1 and a 1.9 in back-to-back semesters. Was dismissed, but went to the dean and argued my way back in. From then on, I didn't have a semester under 3.0, and had a 3.7 in classes that were part of my major.

Actually enabled me the opportunity to study at a well-recognized institution as part of the study abroad program for a semester.

A lot of the Med students and residents I deal with are "older" (as in late 30's), so you definitely wouldn't be alone if you made the call to go back. That being said its a huge commitment with school and residency/fellowship.

As for me ... I think its still to early to make the call. I'm still "doing" what I first set out to do. There are days i'm frustrated but I still think it will enjoy it in the end. This could change over the next several decades.

Hell yes, I'd do it different. A lot of changes coming to education, and kids are assholes. Honestly, I would pursue big time officiating, like D1 college or NBA. It's the one thing in life that I actually love doing.

You would be making about $200,000.00 working in the utica shale region and you wouldn't be stressed everyday wondering if this website will make enough money for you, so you don't have to stand in line once a month waiting to get your free cheese.

I'd still go into a corporate job but probably would have majored in finance. I was a computer science major to start but switched and did enough to get my business degree and be out in 4 years. Also probably would have chosen a school that wasn't $27K a year. I'd like the extra money each month that I am paying towards student loans. I don't think my private college degree has really influenced where I'm at especially since I live in a region where most people haven't heard of my alma mater.
