Why are people so incredibly high on him for not having accomplished much of anything? Hes a good player, real good....but ahead of some of those proven stars is pretty much laughable

Ahead of melo, yes. Ahead of a healthy rose, no. Rose won't be the same this year, I would for sure take harden this year, if rose comes back 100% by next year you probably take him.

No, what's shocking is for someone to put Tim Duncan or Joe Johnson or Josh Smith or Rudy Gay ahead of Harden (okay, at this point Josh Smith's game is pretty damn well rounded so maybe exclude him).Hb31187;1310748 wrote:I guess. When someone says someone is a top 25 player in the NBA they can mean one of 2 things: they have one of the 25 best career resumes/body of work in the league, or they are one of the 25 best basketball players in the league. There is definitely overlap in those 2 defintions, but not complete overlap.
James Harden does not fall into the former category. Anyone who says he doesn't fall in the latter is clearly unaware of how immensely talented he is and needs to watch him play more than just watching highlights (or lowlights).

I'm going to look at the stats tonight when I get home, but I am pretty sure that hardon have better numbers across the board last year except points when compared to Russell westbrook

He didnt, It was close in rebounds n assists, but he didnt. I didnt look at steals blocks ect, just the main 3. He may, MAY have the tools to be better than Gay. But to this point in their careers Gay has put up better numbers. It's so annoying that the in arena announcer announces the score after every basket. I'm pretty sure people can see the score.

As a UConn fan, I love seeing the boys succeed at the next level and I am really hoping that Walker and Thabeet have good years. I think for Thabeet it would be sticking with the Thunder all year. Walker might lead the team in scoring but they will continue to stink.
