That pairing is perfect, imo.

I hate how Ian Poulter and Sergio never win anything, but never lose in this damn thing!!

LOL. I was about to say. Furyk's shot was fucking money.

And the US gets their first win of the day on a great putt by Bradley.

Davis Love has Tiger playing this afternoon after Woods can't hit a fairway in the morning???? He should be sitting the afternoon out. Dufner and Johnson are sitting the afternoon after getting a point in the morning. Does not make much sense.

Yeah I don't get it either. But usually when tiger has a bad round he follows it up with a great round maybe that's what he's thinking?

Tied 2-2 after the morning session. Not a bad result for the US after being down in all matches early.

Keegan Bradley is the man, love his passion. I'll be there Sunday so hopefully Tiger pulls his head out of his ass.

The US squad is off to a quick start in 4ball. Even Tiger with a birdie on number 1.

It won't hold, but damn, USA is coming out guns a blazing in four-ball. 2 groups 3up through 3 and 4 and Tigers group 1 up through 1.

Four ball is simple. Each player plays his own ball. Best score on the hole wins.

Low score wins. Not aggregate, just lowest of the 4.

I LOVE the play. Both guys are better playing their own ball, especially Tiger. Get him going in a more traditional format and then have him rest in the AM.

Not to mention, DL3 had to make the pairings before any of the morning rounds were finished.

I will say that it is working out so far. You are correct, Tiger seems much more comfortable playing his own ball (Stricker too). I would guess that these 2 will sit tomorrow morning's session (if DL3 is willing to sit Tiger at all).

Yeah, I hope Love sits them in the morning, and Phil and Keegan in one of the sessions. 5 rounds is a lot of golf for those 3 old men (Strick, Phil and Tiger).

But Tiger has always been such a grinder and managing pars out of crap situations etc. When he has to flip flop shots it gets dicey, unless of course both are hitting it well.
