Terminal stage cancer. Like you're going to die a slow, painful death in 1-2 months.

If that happens to me....I get drunk, post on JJHuddlez....then (actually do) off myself. If it gets terminal, no point in suffering. Tell your family good bye, ask for their blessing and be gone.

I didnt know him personally, but through mutual friends, heard he was a good person and they couldnt see him doing something like that.

I hope the bitch rots in hell.
But what if he actually did it? People say the same thing about rapists and murderers all the time.

Life is NOT that bad. Everybody has crap that goes wrong. Things happening at the most inopportune time. But, it gets better. It always gets better.

Life doesn't get easier. You just get better at it.
This post is absurd. Comparing problems that everyone has to the worst of the worst that can happen that may drive someone to suicide.

I agree with this statement. I have always wanted to go out on my terms. Probably three hookers an ounce of coke and some scotch or boones farm.

First, if you're religious, then what comes next would definitely be worse.

If you're not religious, your world exists only from your point of view. Death would simply end the world to you. You wouldn't remember anything. You wouldn't be 'escaping' anything. Millionaires commit suicide. How tough is their life?

It's a mental defect that lets people see the world as if it's a movie they can just turn off and everything will be fine.

I guess that's a narrow-minded way to look at it.

I agree with this. I'm curious how many people here have ever thought about it. I'll admit I have. But you're right, if you just keep trying it always gets better

I agree with this.

The world is fucked up. There is a lot of shit out there that people go through that most of us could never fathom. I'm not going to call someone selfish for wanting out when I have NO IDEA what they're going through. Sure, it could be something small that shouldn't drive anyone to such a drastic measure. I'd guess that the vast majority of people that make that decision, however, aren't taking the decision lightly. You can say it's selfish and does nothing but bring pain to the family, but if the person is truly going through some shit why should they remain absolutely miserable for the rest of their lives just to spare their family a little heartbreak?

That's easy for the average person to say. The average person doesn't generally face the problems that drive people to end their life.

You're right. I can't speak for other people. I should not have typed it like that and just replied from my own perspective. I have considered suicide several times. I kept trying and things have always improved for me.

Good point. There is more to the story than I can really comment on. I know she was still in high school. Not sure on age. It's a slippery slope anytime you are a young guy messing around with girls stil in high school. Glad I stayed away from that. One mess up or getting on the family's bad side and you can be in some trouble.

Definitely agree with that. And I am not saying he did it since I obviously do not know anything about the situation at all. Just think it's a little extreme to say you hope she rots in hell when it sounds like neither story has been proven to be true.

Pick6 I knew someone in a very similar situation. He actually was arrested and hung himself in jail. He was a year younger then me and I only knew him from Sunday football games. His friends all thought the girl was making it up as well but who really knows.
