The last three weeks there has been two suicides in my home town. I knew both of the guys pretty well. Just not sure what is so bad in life people has to do this. One lived down the road from me his 5yr old daughter found him in the shower where he shot himself. Its a sickening thing to me and not sure why people would do this.

The family and friends left behind are the ones who truly suffer a suicide and that's what the perpetrators want. Not alot of sympathy here.

Suicide has been really bad the last year in the military as well. Twice my wife and her whole group have had to go to suicide prevention classes. It's getting bad. Life can never be that bad. Someone always has it worse. Sad when they leave behind those who truly care about them.

Sadly, it's something I've experienced a lot myself. Most of the time, you just never see it coming. I had a grandmother, aunt, and an uncle all commit suicide. Grandfather I didn't know, but my aunt & uncle were always just so upbeat and positive. Nobody saw it coming. With my aunt, nobody has any idea why she did it. Uncle was going through a divorce and was going to lose custody of his kids. Dumbass reason, but in his head, it made it right. It's definitely not an easy thing to deal with.

There was a kid a few years ago, a year out of high school, that shot himself in the head because some chick he was talking to/used to date/involved with in some way accused him of rape. I didnt know him personally, but through mutual friends, heard he was a good person and they couldnt see him doing something like that.

I hope the bitch rots in hell.

Messy situation down in Lima a couple weeks ago.

Suicide is not a good for any family or friends to have to deal with.

Yeah, it's their choice. But, it affects a lot more people than the one to end their life. That's the selfish thing about it. It really is a "Screw you guys, I'm taking my ball and going home" attitude.

Life is NOT that bad. Everybody has crap that goes wrong. Things happening at the most inopportune time. But, it gets better. It always gets better.

Life doesn't get easier. You just get better at it.

For some people life truly is awful. Not everyone has a happy ending. Maybe it's because I'm not religious, but I don't see any sanctity in life. It's not that precious, it's not unique. This planet is filled with life, no one person is all that special.
