You're not allowed to make that exact same play on a receiver coming over the middle and catching a pass. It's the same thing with a guy that is sitting there waiting to receive a kick.

Catching a pass yes.

He had already caught the punt and could run with it

2nd and 16 and Braxton has a great run just eluding players to make it 3rd and short

The cuts and little moves he makes are just phenomenal.

Ya, that was a disappointing 3rd down play right after Braxton's run to make it 3rd and short...

Why didn't they wait for the qtr to run out so MSU would have to look into the sun to field the punt?

No. If the hit is made before the pass is caught, that would be PI. If they make that exact same play...hands up to the face as soon as a guy catches a pass...the flag is getting thrown.

I'm not going to argue with you over this. It was the right call. Had a guy from Michigan State done that to an OSU punt returner, you would have been screaming for a flag.

Looks like a MSU player trying to put the big hit on Braxton takes out his own teammate.

Wow, looked bad originally. But after the replay that even looks worse.

I like how our offense is moving... but I'd love to see a little more involvement from our RB's.

Every single play (after Gholston injury) a Michigan State guy is diving in after the guy has been down for a second or two lol

Michigan State fans were chanting: "he's a pussy" after Braxton Miller's scary injury on the sideline

Downright comical for Mich State to say Gholston got the wind knocked out of him. Dude might not have got a concussion but he was seeing stars for a second. He wasn't moving. Usually when people get the wind knocked out of them they are moving around a tad

Ya, it was more than that...

I've had the wind knocked out of me. It sucks not being able to breath, but I was moving around on the ground just because I wasn't sure what was going on.

Miller's reaction told it all.

Yup, Miller wasn't moving as he was worried the guy had a neck/head injury.

Glad our defense made some good plays to get the ball back to our O though.

Man, things are getting chippy out there. The refs are going to have their hands full in the second half unless the coaches calm things down in the locker room.

Hall limping is no good.

I hope it wasn't a re-injury of his foot and hopefully just a calf cramp.
