Three straight games without giving up a TD. Hats off to the D. O looked solid tonight. Very happy.

No Miami's offense challenged the weakest part of ND's defense

Ok, but why would that make you physically worry?

Morris threw for 1000 yards last week. ND starts two corners that were recruited as WRs and a safety that has played 3 years of football total and one year at safety. Plus duke Johnson.

The thing that has surprised me about ND this year is their defense. Offense should be good under Brian Kelly as he has a proven track record of that. But I don't recall anything special about his defense when he was at UC.

1) it looks like Miami was a bad 4-1
2) ND looks to be legit
3) U of M made Purdue look like true pretenders

He never had the athletes to run a good defense. He knew he had to try and put score everyone.

And his defensive recruiting at ND has been great. They should have very good defenses for a few years to come.

Agreed. As long as bob diaco stays around. A very very under rated d coordinator. After the navy game in his first year he has had great game plans and play calls. He even called himself out for that navy game saying it was his fault that they lost
