Alot of this is on Holmgren. He created an atmosphere that never had any accountability to any of the staff, and this is the result. There was no sense of urgency, because they knew Mike had the keys to the kingdom and no one would ever be fired as long as they were a Bob Lamonte client.
Shurmur should never have been allowed back this year, as he showed nothing last year to make anyone think another year was going to make a difference.
Now he is dead man walking and we are barreling toward a 2-14 season where everyone goes at the end of it.
Haslam just better have a plan that does not resemble Holmgren's "let's be arrogant and pretend we're smarter than the rest of the league" approach. I can't take much more of the incompetence without consequences style we've been subjected to.
