under for sure. I think zero or one is likely.

Im seriously starting to worry about getting 1 win in general. Patty boy gets fired sometime when Haslam takes over. What I don't want to happen is Childress or Jauron becomes the interim head coach, then Haslam decides to give one of them the job.

If Haslam wants to do this the "Steeler Way", he's going to give the position to some hotshot coordinator. Even with this "new beginning" I don't see many former experienced/successful head coaches (Gruden, Cowher, etc) seeing this as a "must have" job.

I could see Haslam talking one of those guys into it, however I am fine with the hotshot coordinator route, just as long as it is not a patty boy shurmur type hire. Having a horrible ranked offense as a coordinator (with a losing record) does not make you head coach material.

If it's one of those two I'd hope it was Gruden over Cowher unless Cowher is flexible enough to stay with the 4-3.

This quote is from former Browns head coach, Sam Rutigliano in an interview with 92.3 when asked about Greg Little...

Guys like Greg Little who drop the ball yet do a dance while we’re 0-3? I would sit his ass down and tell him, ‘listen my friend, there’s no I in team, but there’s two I’s in “idiot.” Get the job done and stop the B.S.’

Littles drop and Gordons drop were big plays in determining the outcome yesterday. Weeden missed a couple throws but thought he played good enough to win.

For as much as I think Weeden can be successful, the guy leaves a lot of plays on the field. I was under the impression that he "throws a good deep ball" but I haven't seen that yet. He's had 4 TD's (potential) where he's either a) thrown too late, b) underthrew the guy, c) threw the ball on a straight line instead of getting air under it or d) overthrew it. A lot of this is timing but this offense can't afford "near misses" with how mistake prone they are. His game yesterday, to me, would've been a "C effort" before he threw that second pick. After that he has to be downgraded to about a "D" for the game.

The first pick he threw he was just trying to make something happen but that second throw was just BAD.

In his defense, NO WAY Shurmur should be trying to rest the teams fate on a rookie QB. Meaning "why the Hell did he give up on the running game and Ricahrdson so early?" Yeah, T-Rich wasn't busting big runs but he wasn't against Cincy either. He's like a diesel engine...you have to keep working him and then he'll take off. First it will be two yards, then three, then one then BOOM...20 yard TD run. Can't give up on him so soon, Patty Boy.

I am pretty indifferent on Weeden so far...he is a rookie(although I thought since he is my grandpa's age, he wouldn't have these issues). I have more of an issue with the coaching and especially Joe Haden. I know a lot of people are giving him a pass on this because he is a good guy, but that fucking idiot destroyed our already thin secondary. Also, these receivers are garbage....and this front office should be held accountable for not adding anything other than late round picks and "projects"

Yesterday was an absolute miserable day to be at the stadium....shitty weather, shitty team, and shitty hot chocolate.

Reps for the last part.

Perfect tail gate weather..miserable game and walking to the game weather. Also, is there a worst stadium to get into?

Haden doesn't get a "pass."

I know it's said that "no ONE player loses or wins a game" but I firmly believe if Weeden even somewhat resembles an NFL QB in week 1 and if Haden plays in week 2, this team is playing for first place this Thursday night.

absolutely. We laugh when we try to use the escalators inside...what a clusterfuck. They have lines coming from everywhere and no one knows what is going on. We just walk the ramps.

I don't think I'm even going to go to the Browns bar for Thursday's game. That depressed over this horseshit. First time I haven't gone to a browns backers bar in a loooong time. Don't wantr to the waste the time/money involved to go there and be pissed off.

Yeah, but then you will have everybody saying Shurmur didn't make any adjustments after the Bills stonewalled the running game.

Don't blame ya. I'll probably watch the first half.

In most years, I'd think this would have the potential to be a close game but with the emergence of Flacco & the Rats passing attack, coupled with our brutal secondary/lack of pass rush, I could see this being kinda ugly by the half.

No reference to you, but anyone with a lick of common jackass sense would also know that you don't want a rookie QB slinging the ball around 43 times. Not exactly a recipe for success (consistently), regardless of who the QB is.

I don't get the lack of pass rush this week. We had a great pass rush the first two weeks, Fitzpatrick could have knitted back there.

You're just making shit up as usual. Yes I'm a bad ass big boy and can fight but I didn't say steel cage. However if that's what you want... And for the 100th time I don't race karts, my brother did. Making fun of someone is different than being ignorant and just calling them a troll or douchebag.

Footwedge, he won't get bant for that post because the mods here will say I started it.

I would have been gone from this thread except for you trolling me with your usual peanut gallery shot.
