Isn't the rule that once the kicking team touches the ball, but doesn't properly "down it" there is no risk to the punt return team by trying to pick it up and return it? If the return team picks it up and runs it back 3 yards then fumbles it and the kicking team recovers, it reverts to being the punt return team's ball at the point where the punt team failed to down it properly?Ironman92;1278423 wrote:Special team players are the worst. If he picks it up, runs 5 yards then fumbles what then? There were 5 guys around he wasn't going anywhere.

I agree that it was a good no call. The no calls I most disagree with are the type in the heat of the game when it is 3rd and five and they left the defense hit the receiver early and maul him and don't call anything!Ironman92;1278444 wrote:Good no call.
