Is it a good class or is it no competition? A little of both. The class of 07 was also very talented. Went 5-5 (brutal tac that year)

True that spread, we did play Struthers though and i think their pretty good. I undestand what your saying though week in and week out the competition this year not as strong as that. However i do believe this years team would have faired better than that team given the same schedule.

Your right about the TAC that year. I do think that Warren JFK and YC were pretty good teams also. Struthers was an excellent team. They just missed the playoffs. Campbell wasn't that bad but after that it definitely gets weak.I think not plaing in the all American conference has given them some easier weeks.

I am a casual observer who does not care who wins this game...but one thing I know for sure is Norwayne will put at least 6 touchdowns on the board. So you guys better plan on scoring close to 50 if you can.

this is bulldogs last 8 yrs record, doesn't look like 10 straight years of playoffs to me, not that it matters. just shows how accurate or unaccurate some are on here.

OkieDokie;1318064 wrote:I think they would win by 7 to 14 against Girard from last year. Brookfield is going to have a tough time with the passing game of Norwaynes if they don't get pressure on the qb. I am not worried about their running game. Brookfield has seen 2 better backs already this year and shut them down.
:huh:It has more 2do w/the line than the back. Jim Brown couldn't run through a hole that wasn't there. Zimmerly doesn't need much of a hole & he's running downhill. At 5-8,195, & bull strong....hitting him high, or arm tackles just don't work. And for him & the wide outs being .... not very fast or athletic, they've scored from 60,70,80,& 91 yards. Must be some really slow DBs out there bc....,once they get a step, ring it up. Very seldom have they been run down. Brookfield has great backs, no doubt. But if the line doesn't get it done.....they'll get swarmed. You can throw on Nwayne, but you don't want 2b forced to. They eat that up.

PS.,
That Girard team was great. They were in FG range at our 19 that would have put it away. Then, unexplainedly, took a 15 yd sack that got us the ball back. Wallace then did it again. He's just magic. He's a FR.,QB at Ashland. Doesn't play, but now they're unbeaten. ..Magic.

I guarantee that the line opens some holes for Brookfield. As far as the Girard team I think Brookfield is a touchdown favorite against th but not so sure about 14. Good luck to both teams and go Warriors

He obviously meant that they had made the playoffs some years in the last ten years - not every year in the last ten years.

They lost a couple lineman that were pretty good. I know they also lost one of their starting linebackers and the 6:10 gentle giant. He wasn't any good but the others were. They returned all the main starters.
