I live (near) the middle and am (usually) high, so I agree! Or something.

Round ends: Northern and southern borders have a distinct curve to them.

High in the middle: It's actually a little west, but it's middle in terms of North & South: Campbell Hill is the tallest location in Ohio

The double entendre is that the word "OHIO" is round on the ends (the Os) and "HI" in the middle.

Took like 30 seconds.

And how is such a small post considered "all that?" Your bar seems pretty low for what is considered extensive reading.

Also, why the yelling?

Just saying not to overrun a topic someone started to discuss something when anyone who wishes to have such a pissing match is perfectly capable of starting a thread to do so.

Nobody's limiting anyone's ability to have the pissing match by asking them to not do it on a topic that has nothing to do with it.

I didn't realize we were supposed to have meaningful discussions(like the dad thread) in a thread about the world's largest dog. I would assume the thread starter realized this when he posted it. We shall now discuss the meaningfull existence of a 7ft dog to today's world.

I personally think the dog is responsible for A-rabs bombing people. What say you teirnan?

How is this nonsense where you went with it? Sports rivalries are hardly "meaningful discussion." It's certainly not to everyone.

Maybe you don't care about a thread about a big dog. That's fine. You don't have to, but then just don't get on a thread about a big dog. If you want to have a "meaningful" pissing contest or flame war, then do it somewhere where it isn't interrupting what others might still want to talk about when they've created a thread to talk about it.

No offense, but pissing contests or flame wars are only of any value to those involved. To everyone else, they're annoying, and a reason some don't go to the CF or Pro Sports forum.
