High in the middle: It's actually a little west, but it's middle in terms of North & South: Campbell Hill is the tallest location in Ohio
The double entendre is that the word "OHIO" is round on the ends (the Os) and "HI" in the middle.

I didn't realize we were supposed to have meaningful discussions(like the dad thread) in a thread about the world's largest dog. I would assume the thread starter realized this when he posted it. Maybe you don't care about a thread about a big dog. That's fine. You don't have to, but then just don't get on a thread about a big dog. If you want to have a "meaningful" pissing contest or flame war, then do it somewhere where it isn't interrupting what others might still want to talk about when they've created a thread to talk about it.
No offense, but pissing contests or flame wars are only of any value to those involved. To everyone else, they're annoying, and a reason some don't go to the CF or Pro Sports forum.
