I'll use it to watch games when the wife and kids want the tv, but I can't rely on it to cancel my tv package.

I used it to watch multiple games today. Really no problems with any soccer games.

I understand not canceling a cable package for it, but as a poor graduate student (and cheapskate), it's great for me.

Agreed. Love AT&T's U-Verse. I'm paying something like $99/mo right now for both Internet and cable, but I think it's eventually supposed to jump up to $152 after the promo period. Gonna need to figure out a way of lowering that while still keeping a similar package/Internet-speed.

Yes. For 2 reasons.

1. I didn't bother to check because pretty much every other provider in the world carries it. Didn't think TW wouldn't.
2. I only ever watch it if the Bears are on TNF. So not a big deal. Not gonna miss it.

Not what I meant. What I meant was... you're literally just finding out that Time Warner sucks?! Everyone has known this for years .

Oh gotchya. The problem is, my only alternative for internet is Frontier DSL. I switched for the internet.
