My dad turned 64 last month. He is my best friend. It's hard having both of my parents in Illinois, especially as they age. My dad is the hardest working man I know. He's slowing down a lot and it hurts me to see, but I'm thankful I still have him around. He was always there when he could be (when I was younger he worked 3 jobs) and most of my greatest memories are the times I've spent with him. I hope that I can continue to grow and become half of the man he is and get the respect from my children that I have for him. Dads are GOAT.

My died died when I was ten. I didn't really know him. He'd be 67 now.
