This is probably the one response that drives me fucking nuts on this site. Just about every fucking question that is asked on this site can be answered with google. Who fucking cares if someone asks a question on here? Maybe I don't feel like actually searching google right now, so I'll ask a question and come back later to see what people have to say. Honestly.

And when I click "App Store," the app store opens and says "Can't connect to app store."

Actually no. Most questions asked here are meant for discussion (i.e. favorite cartoons). Your questions are simply "hai guise how do you....." type questions. Quit QQing and use google. Thanks.

There is a fix for that. Google can explain it better.

The Passbook app is limited right now. I've got a Starbucks card linked up to it.

TedSheckler;1275627 wrote:You mean the Do Not Disturb setting?

You can set it to turn off notifications between a range of time. I have mine set to turn on between midnight and 5AM. So I won't get calls, text alerts, sports score alerts from the ESPN app, words with friends notifications, etc between those times.

The settings for it are under Notifications.
I have a question about this...

If I use the 'Do Not Disturb' feature/function, will your phone still ring/vibrate if, say, you set an alarm for 6 AM in the morning to wake up for work?!

Set your DND to shut off at 5:55. DND makes your phone go dark, with a few exceptions. No ringing, vibrating, or lighting up. It will basically be like it's turned off, except you'll be able to see missed calls when you unlock it.

Alarm still works. Used it the last two mornings with DND on.

I haven't used it. Updated to iOS 6, but haven't used maps. I haven't used it yet.

It's pretty bad and I'm surprised to see Apple release something that is so shitty initially.

Yeah, pretty disappointed to hear how bad it is. I hear the map development team is basically locked in until they get it fixed.

My guess is it will take a while for it to even come close to Google's version. They have been driving around with their cam cars for years. I have no idea if Apple plans to do that or offer a "street view."

Google's stand alone map app is currently stuck in Apple's approval department. It will probably be there for a while. You can also add the shortcut to your homepage and use it via the web browser. It still works ok, but obviously not as smooth.

Why is ETB being so annoying on this fine Friday?
