Took me less than 15 minutes for the update, granted I did mine will connected to my laptop. I'm liking the new ios pretty damn well.

I messed around with the map, it's fast but generic...

The map still has city center in downtown columbus on the map!

Update wouldn't work for me. Says I'm not connected to Wifi. Which isn't true...I'm typing on my iPad now. Hope they fix it soon.

You mean the Do Not Disturb setting?

You can set it to turn off notifications between a range of time. I have mine set to turn on between midnight and 5AM. So I won't get calls, text alerts, sports score alerts from the ESPN app, words with friends notifications, etc between those times.

The settings for it are under Notifications.

Not a big surprise. This was pretty much expected. I'd venture to say Apple's Maps is actually a "beta" version.

Do you remember when Google Maps first came out? It was horrendous and buggy as hell. I expect plenty of updates in the near future.

I hope they fix (read: bring back google maps) this maps issue. That's my only gripe with iOS6.
