You want a red herring, P-Town, try the ridiculous statement puppeted by obama's media that blames the terror attacks on a pis$-as$ video that supposedly circulated around the internet ---- what a complete bunch of baloney, all engineered to simply run interference for this president, the greatest failure in the history of U.S. presidents.

He spoke to the facts that were available, the same as the administration did.

When Marines guarding American Embassy have no ammo to protect America lives via the Obama Administration this is a fuck crime and the death of those America are Obama responsibility. Another Obama fuck up that cost lives ….. What a fucking joke.

If I was in the military now my men would not fight for this Second Rate Community Organizer.

This part stood out:
5. The Obama administration, not the Romney campaign, bungled its message.

When the White House sends a message to reporters that it does not agree with the language used by the U.S. Embassy, but the State Department reiterates very similar language, there is a contradiction that must be explained. Meanwhile, Romney stated clearly what has been always been his foreign policy. Yet he is accused of a “gaffe.”

Do not expect the mainstream media to correct these mistakes. Do not expect them to hold the Obama administration accountable. Do not expect them to correct themselves once they have some disgruntled Republicans to affirm their overall narrative. Do not expect them to remember this is an election, in which the opposition has the right--the obligation--to state its views. Do not expect them to stand up for free speech--or truth.

But do note that Romney stayed to answer journalists’ questions, while Obama refused, ducking out to attend a fundraiser in Las Vegas. Romney is effectively the leader of the free world today, the man whose principled reaction to events expressed what ought to be--and used to be--the minimum Americans expect of their president.

That we still cherish and enjoy our free press is no thanks to Obama--or the media that protect him.

According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and "lockdown", under which movement is severely restricted.
Oops.

This administration and its State Department is immersed in so much fail it's embarassing.

Yes but according to Footwedge, despite the fact that Obama issues apologies to terrorists when they attack U.S. embassies and kill U.S.ambassadors on his watch while he sends financial support to terrorist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, it's far less heinous than the 9-11 terrorist attacks that killed 3,000 Americans on 9-11 due to Bush's inability to apprehend OBL when Clinton had the chance. ;)

Hey I got an idea, lets bomb them and then occupy their countries for years to come, that will get them to like us and also prevent these type of attacks in the future. It is a fool proof plan!!!!

Let's keep in mind that this wasn't just an impromptu Q&A session. Romney called this press conference so that he could make a bold political statement. He knew exactly what he wanted to say, facts be damned. Did anyone notice that he was smiling through most of this? Deep down inside he was brimming with glee that he had the opportunity to get a slam in against Obama. He saw the attacks as a political opportunity, nothing else. That's the problem when you get most of your foreign policy advice from the likes of John Bolton. Shoot first and aim later. I saw this for what it was, a shameless attempt to politicize the deaths of four people serving our country.

Good for him. Why didn't the Prez call a press conference to make a bold presidential statement? Or a bold commander-in-chief statement?

I think deep down inside he was mocking the idiocy of the reporters who ask him tough questions like he's the president or something while Obama and his State Dept. keep making fools of themselves. But that's just me.

BTW, in the midst of this tragedy Obama seized the opportunity to get a slam in against Romney before he condemned the actual attackers. So presidential.

You realize you just described the entire Democrat Party's modus operandi from 2004-2008, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

So does this mean a Romney Presidency would only involve pressers with softballs lobbed by his buddies at Fox News?

You want to be President, you answer the tough questions.
You want to be President, you realize that when dealing with world affairs you don't "shoot first, aim later".
You want to be President, you have to understand that world opinion, market levels and many other things hang on the words you choose.

Romney didn't come across as Presidential at all, just like some hack out to score points with his base, the true believers who wouldn't know diplomacy if it fell out of the sky and hit them squarely on their tin hats. BTW, you wouldn't have a headache, would you?
