Yeah but those camel spiders aren't as big as they seem and they aren't venomous. Not saying I wouldn't cry like a girl if one was on me, but I would rather have that than be attacked by most of the things in Australia like the infamous funnel web spider.O-Trap;1269337 wrote:These things are nuts.

Some of those Australian spiders that eat birds, fish, and snakes are badasses of the animal kingdom.

Driving on 4 lane highways. I am to the point now I can't do it. Can't even tell you the last time I drove on one. Sometimes I'm weird about driving on other roads too, but the highways are a definite no.
Pisses me off because I have no idea why. It started when I was about 23 or so (first time I remember having issue on the highway). Nothing to trigger it. I used to love highway driving.

If a four-lane highway is bad, I can only imagine how bad an eight-lane highway.WebFire;1269609 wrote:Driving on 4 lane highways. I am to the point now I can't do it. Yeah, I was just gonna say you'd probably have an aneurysm on the Kennedy in Chicago.O-Trap;1269610 wrote:If a four-lane highway is bad, I can only imagine how bad an eight-lane highway.

Wow same. I can't wear shirts that are tight around the collar, can't button the last button on a dress shirt when I wear a tie, nor can I sleep in a shirt for this same reason.justincredible;1267861 wrote:I don't like when people touch my neck. It freaks me out.
Bugs with a lot of a legs, centi/millipeds. Those things freak me out.

Right. It worsens with each lane. I don't even really like riding with someone on a highway.O-Trap;1269610 wrote:If a four-lane highway is bad, I can only imagine how bad an eight-lane highway.

Going through downtown Chicago doesn't bother me as much. It seems when traffic is tight and close, I'm not as bad when it's wide open and fast.gorocks99;1269612 wrote:Yeah, I was just gonna say you'd probably have an aneurysm on the Kennedy in Chicago.

I can ride ok, actually better about that than I used to. Otherwise, I find an alternate route if it's reasonable. Otherwise, I don't have much need to go too far anyway.O-Trap;1269621 wrote:How do you go places that aren't pretty much right around you?
