"Yes"? Is that it? Even my buds here are a tad sorely these days. Next year...what if?

What If?...what if we don't spend so much on fireworks? What if I don't renew my season tickets?

I think the we can seafely say now, that the Ubaldo deal was another in a long string of bad trades made by this group. the only way this was a good deal for the Tribe was if they reached the playoffs. That is why this year...and particularly last off season is so puzzling and maddening for Indian fans. Why make that trade if you are just going to do nothing to make a run?..SMFH. The front office might not like it when Chris Perez let them have it in the media....but damn it, the SOB is right.

another great line from the front office

http://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index.ssf/2012/09/gm_chris_antonetti_talks_manny.html
A big-league scout who has seen the Indians recently called them the "deadest team I've seen in a long time. I think they've quit." GM Chris Antonetti, who joined the team in Texas on Tuesday, has been watching the same team for a lot longer. He disagrees.
"It's natural, especially when you struggle to score runs, to say the team is flat," said Antonetti. "It's hard to have a lot of enthusiasm when there's nobody on base.
"I don't get any sense that the guys are just finishing out the string. The balance of the year is still important to everybody. We still have mostly a very young team that is looking to establish themselves as major-league players. Everybody still has something to play for."
yup, big league scouts must be wrong.....

lol...Antonetti and Shapiro are absolute morons. They need to be shitcanned the moment the season ends. If any one of us performed this poorly at our jobs, we would be in the unemployment line immediately.

They're 2 games in to a Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but no one has started a thread. So we've got to that point of not giving a fuck

I started the last one...and titled it...
Tribe vs Twins...Battle for the Basement....

that's all inclusive for the forseeable future...until we put some distance between us and the Twinkies.

gonna be hard to pull away from the twins---when they suck almost as badly and are losing to the flipping Royals. But i have confidence in this team. We conitinue to battle every night!

And i had thought perhaps the Indians were dead--and may have quit as well, considering their little slump of late--but Antonetti came out and said that isn't the case, so feel much better about things!

thats because the Aero players want to play good so they can get traded to other teams when its time for the annual "lets trade away our good players for other team's has beens".

Zac McCallister went 6 innings and limited the hard hitting Rangers to two runs...Matt LaPorta is 2-3 with a game tying 2-run dinger.
End of 7...Tribe tied 2-2 with Texas.

I know, it really looks bad. I have loved the Tribe since my first visit to the old Stadium in 1964. Hard to shake the love...

well from what i heard the tribe did their best to get back into 4th place with a bonehead play by laporta. and how the hell do they go through 10 pitchers in 12 innings?

happened to turn this on late as well--10th inning or so. What a bonehead Laporta is. Not going to stay in the majors with that kind of play. Even if he could/would hit regularly, he has shown defensively and on the bases he is pathetic. Time to admit finally that he is not an answer to anything and move on. Anyways, all 33 fans left in the stadium by the 11th inning saw a stinker. Playing the Twins head to head seems to be the only way we can find the basement and stay there, as we somehow find ways to pick up a win here and there against the Texas' and Detroits of the world, and the Twinkies can't seem to even do that. What pathetic teams both are!

In the bottom of the 10th we had guys on 1st and 3rd , no out, and did not get the winning run home. The season tickets I have are resting comfortably in the drawer at home. haven't been to a game in 2 weeks...:mad:probably won't go to another this year.:(

If you're giving them away yet, that would be the only way I go up there this year lol

The only milestone left is the big 100. It won't be easy, but i won't count this team out until it's official.

They have to lose out, which is entirely possible.

It does mean they would have to lose 6 times to KC in 12 games, and that'shard to do.
