So? You do know that English is spoken in most developed countries, right? It's very popular as a second language, such that many speak it pretty fluently.

Let go of your racial preconceptions and bigotry, and you will be redeemed.

gosh a ruddies little fella, as i said there is a question mark after asian american. so it would hardly reflect any preconception to think that english writing on his trike would make that more likely.
you must abandon the hate you hold so deep in you. there is lighted path toward redemption if you are open to it.

The mere suggestion, question or otherwise, necessitates a preconception ... not necessarily with 100% certainty, but since your default was to guess Asian American, with a specific citizenship, it was an ignorant assumption.

Loose the bonds of prejudice, and you will be redeemed.

quite the contrary. gosh by asking the question Asian American I have expanded the possibilities, moving past the assumption he was an Asian and opening the possibilities of him bein an Asian Canadian, Asian Mexican, Asian Italian.

Ah, but refraining from mentioning citizenship only expands the possibility. Your guess was exclusionary of the notion that he might be Canadian, Mexican, or Italian. By not mentioning it at all, you assume nothing, and the possibilities are the most wide-ranging and the most equally assumed, as none are assumed.

This is only furthered by the fact that his citizenship is irrelevant, so there was no reason to bring it up.

gosh the boy was labeled as Asian, the leading definition of that term is " a native or inhabitant of Asia." when he may have been a person from the united states with asian ancestry. that is a move beyond the assumptions of others.

Asian is often used to describe someone of descent. Clarifying that was not relevant to anyone who sees all people as equals.

the first dictionary definition and the most widely accepted is that an asian is a native or inhabitant of asia. And my question expanded the possibilities. of course it is interesting that you consider the description of someone as being asia or asia american as proof they are not equal in some way. practice tolerance is will lead you to redemption.

Being able to be redeemed doesn't mean that it is the desire of one.

...knowing that, suggesting that a person may choose to act towards redemption as previously stated is nothing more than a personal benefit for yourself. Nothing more.
