Yes, banning people for rules that were chosen arbitrarily is the same as simply deleting a post based on rules that are made with the profitability of the site in mind.

You do know that their rules don't say "no half-naked girls," right? You know that even after all that was removed, they still cited sexually suggestive LANGUAGE as being a reason they couldn't bring AdSense back, right?

Start your own forum and try to keep AdSense going while letting posts like the one you had on here riddle the site. Let me know what you accomplish.

I can't believe you're bitching this much about someone removing a post where you mention the size of your anatomy. Seriously, you think the problem with the site is that those kinds of posts aren't more prevalent or something?

Good- My wife is having our first child in Feb 2013

Bad-I spend way to much time watching tv. I honestly enjoy kist watching crap.

Good-Published 3 times in engineering/science journals/magazines by the age of 22. Won a state title in football and runner up in baseball twice in HS and played college baseball.
Bad-Haven't been published since (11 years) and can't throw a baseball without my arm feeling like it is going to fall off anymore.

Interesting, in some forums anything goes, even that which is blatanly false and completely outrageous and over the top. But, when it is suddenly and magically felt that someone 'crossed the line', whammo, out comes the delete feature and distasteful posts/threads are gone along with that freedom of expression concept that was just so recently, and vehemently, held up as a defense. Some posts possibly would raise the ire of the Adsense bots, which hurts as far as this site getting Adsense back.

Other posts just raise the ire of easily-butthurt whiners.

Bit of a difference.

Had nothing to do with whether or not it was false, outrageous (a subjective term), or over the top (also a subjective term).

Only reason it got removed was that Google wouldn't like their AdSense program being on a site with it.

Had nothing to do with anyone's over-delicate sensitivities being offended.
