Maps feature sucks in the update IMO. Not sure how they managed to fuck it up, why even bother with it? It was fine the way it was.

It's due to their beef with Google, they opted to go with their own over the Google powered maps of old. They also yanked Youtube as a core app, so now you must download from the app store.

While I do think Apple's maps will get there eventually, you would have to think Jobs is turning over in his grave regarding this botched release of iOS maps. For such an essential and widely used app, it's not even close to being ready.

What is everyone's beef with the maps?! I used them on my trip last week and thought the turn-by-turn navigation was great. Also, loved how accurate they were. My only "beef" was that I couldn't zoom out or in.

It works great here also, but for a lot of people its inaccurate. Do a search, there are tons of screen shots showing misplaced locations. Apple has been getting lambasted all day in articles all over the world.

Turn by turn has worked fine for me, walking and driving

My main issue is you can't plan a route via public transit, it gives you the option to d/l another app that will do it for you....so lame.

TomTom has even offered to step in and assist with the fix (they license their map data to Apple)

So no hologram video or keyboard? My wife got hers today and it didn't look like it had that. Mine comes in tomorrow.

I think there is a way to transfer your tapatalk subscription to your new phone. Check out the faq or help section at tapatalk.com.

A: Unfortunately we do not provide a way to transfer license over different mobile platform. However if you have replace your device under the same platform as your previous device (e.g. upgrading from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4), you can simply "repurchase" it from App Store and you won't be charged again, same for Android Market.
It appears you cannot.

Yeah it sucks - i got a bunch of free games from Amazon App Market and went to put them on my phone but wasn't about to pay $2 per game.

I was going to. I even started on it. Then adsense left and now there is no money coming in. I'm probably going to have to shut the site down unless I can get it back and it isn't looking good.
