S&L, your feed must be a few seconds ahead of mine.
But ya, not excited that Miller is taking this beating so far.

Miller is just too fast. Good to know we receive the kick so have a chance to make it a two score game.

Haha, no it's cool. I just made my post. Went to watch play, then came back and saw your post about Braxton was posted before mine. So you didn't spoil anything.SportsAndLady;1264571 wrote:Sucks bro!

I hope the offense opens up in the 2nd. Very basic thus far.
Still, sloppy.
Not a fan of Miller taking the hits, but Herman has said he is ok with that and that Kenny can run the offense if needed.
D needs to sure up on the front line, and better at getting off blocks.

D gave up 3 points when given a short field, and then 2 long runs. But only gave up 114 yards and 5 first downs. Those two long runs made them look worse then they really have been.
The D-line still not getting in the backfield much though.

I was expecting a bit more out of our D line this year. Hopefully they can pick it up.Midstate01;1264583 wrote:D gave up 3 points when given a short field, and then 2 long runs. But only gave up 114 yards and 5 first downs. Those two long runs made them look worse then they really have been.

Good opening drive to start the second half. Love seeing Miller keeping the eyes down field when scrambling.

There we go!
D-line made teh QB make a bad throw and we get 2nd INT for the day.

Miller with a nice pass then a play later runs it in himself.

Two FR on the D-Line caused the INT. Then two SO lead the TD drive. Lots of youth contributing on this OSU team...

Our secondary needs some work too, there are just too many times when a WR gets wide open for an easy pass.

Ugh, should have declined the penalty. The secondary is getting lit up.
Come on Urban.

No reason to accept that penalty when its gonna be 4th down

I think Urban was thinking that the penalty clearly puts them out of FG range and didn't expect the secondary to lose a man.

Yeah. Lots of communication breakdowns this year. It's not a talent issue, but it's been the biggest problem with the defense so far this season. They've given up a lot of big plays due to not knowing who is covering who....Fly4Fun;1264599 wrote:Our secondary needs some work too, there are just too many times when a WR gets wide open for an easy pass.
I also think they need to junk the Big D-Line setup (Hankins, Simon on the outside with Shutt & Goebel inside) until Wisconsin & MSU. They get no pass rush with that setup....
