Lets get this one going.
Canton South appears to be a much improved ball club from last year, 2-0 coming into this matchup.
Northwest is 0-2, which is a bit perplexing.
The Indians will pull things together this week and win a close one.

Didn't get to go to the Poland game...can someone give me a rundown? Saw we threw three interceptions and had another turnover. Did Bowman get the ball much?

Was not really able to count, but I would guess not more than 5-10 carries. The night consisted alot of the old playbook in a new formation. It can be best summarized by rare back and throw it as far as you can and hope your WR can run under it. Not a winning formula in my book. The intermediate passig game looked decent, and that is how we got back into the game. You will have a good idea of how we are going to play by how many times we sling it long. I am not sure if this is the designed play call, or a decision the QB is making, but it is a low percentage play, and there is a reason it is usually seen in limited circumstances.

WOW, the fanbase is really whipped into a frenzy this week! 30 hours before kickoff, and we have 3 posts in the thread. I wonder how quiet it will be next week.

I talked with a freshman Wednesday night that said they have been hitting like crazy all week. I guess the JV team especially did not tackle well last weekend. He said things were very intense @ practice this week, and there was more than the normal ammount of noise coming from the coaches. Hopefully it will all transfer onto the field and lead to a Big W. I would love to send our old NBC pals gome minus a few pelts!

Well, I would say that we looked slightly better this week but still nowhere near good. To be totally honest I think we will be lucky to win 2 games total this year, and even the Kenmore and Barberton games are starting to worry me.
There seems to be something wrong on every play, whether it be a wrong route, an over-thrown pass, a RB running into his own players, or the line just not blocking. They just don't seem to be able to pull anything together.
Really the defense isn't looking too bad, the only play that had us beat every time was the long ball to #10 (who by the way was REALLY good). We had no answer for that.
Overall it just doesn't seem like these boys are playing with the same fire as past seasons. They played with heart and fought hard at the end of the game last night, but overall just not the same intensity. I don't know why that would be, but from the players I know personally, they just don't seem to care as much about winning as past seasons.
