I went shopping for some new dockers last night. The place was a mess and all the pants were out of order and in piles, so I start at the front and go left to right and work my way back so I don't miss anything. My wife kept saying "hey honey, come look at this" and I would go look and invariably they would not be my size and I would have to start over. God damn! she knows what size pants I wear. Why was that so difficult? No, they can not be 2" shorter than what I normally wear. I would look like Urckel. And I probably could go 2" bigger around the waste, but I'm not ready to concede that yet.

So, we ask for it 'on the side'. Which means they have to use another wrapper to put the cheese in to give to him.

What's really funny was Burger King's savants sometimes microwave the cheese wrapped in its own wrapper.
I get hamburgers from fast food restaurants all the time and never really have an issue. They mess it up once in a while, but they never throw a fit when I actually order it.

I have a co-worker who lets her young kid pick out the ring tone for her cell phone. Since they might be the most annoying family in the world (at least her and the young kid...don't see older kid or husband enough to know if they're on that "shoot. them. now." level), this means whenever her phone goes off, I hear an annoying sound and want her dead.

If you order a hamburger, they'll give it to you. Ask for a menu item that comes with cheese and ask for it without, and they throw a fit.

For instance, McDonald's had a deal where their cheeseburgers were 50 cents each (this was a while ago, some anniversary promotion), but if you ask for without cheese, they want to charge you the regular hamburger price is more. I'm paying them not to sell me something. That's absurd.

42/34s are legitimately difficult to find.

Today:
The camera on my cell phone stopped working.
The gas station was out of starlight mints.
I was $0.02 short of being able to pay cash for my morning Red Bull.

The company that picks up my garbage only takes payment by check. Apparently they haven't discovered that it's 2012 and automatic payments are the standard. They actually want me to find my checkbook, write a check, put it in an envelope, find a stamp and mail it. They might as well expect me to get in my horse and buggy to drop the payment off at their office. I typically won't do business with companies with such ancient payment requirements, but they are my only option for garbage pick up....
