I wouldn't imagine me telling her dad, "your daughter gives great head" would go good with potato salad.
There's only one way to find out!

This thread is not sexually gratifying.

Why on earth would you share bedroom tales with your family?

I find it really weird that your wife swaps sex stories with her mom. I will admit that I am a pretty private person in general, but I think even if I wasn't that would still be kind of creepy. I don't think you are overreacting at all, especially if you've already had a conversation about it.

I've heard so many stories from my wife's friends (via her) and female co-workers I might actually understand the whole going gay thing. Female gossip is a huge turnoff for most guys, but apparently many women never got the memo. I actually had a serious conversation with my wife a few years ago after the bizillionth time she told me how, for instance, friend "X" only has sex once a month and she's worried her husband is cheating (maybe she should have sex more than once and not gossip about it if she's that concerned was my response), or how friend "Y"'s ex-Navy SEAL husband was crying and begging for sex. Needless to say the goal of the conversation was to make it clear this isn't acceptable. Even one of her current co-workers who she's worked with for a whopping 6 weeks talks about her marital relationship as if we've known them for years. I sort of feel like we have.

Ugh. I don't get that whole thing. My friends do the same thing, which usually results at me staring at them with a blank look. In my head, the conversation is like hearing Charlie Brown's teacher talk. The best is when someone makes a joke about what someone told everyone and the person blows up, resulting in WWIII.

I don't share details or specific stories. It's also usually just with my siblings, not my parents. It's just not something that has ever bothered me. My friends and I (guys and girls) were at a casino over the weekend and randomly started talking about hand jobs while waiting in line for a drink. It's just normal conversation for us.
