A couple of days ago I asked my son if he was going to Xfest this year. He said he hadn't bought tickets yet because they were $45. He called me yesterday and laughed at Xfest being cancelled. Looks like there were A LOT of people who weren't buying tickets!

$45 for an all day music festival is not bad at all.
I'm going to one Saturday and got hit for $180.

The going rate was $15 back when I was going to these kinds of things, shortly after the Earth cooled (mid-70s). $45 seems pretty reasonable in today's dollars.Automatik;1257779 wrote:$45 for an all day music festival is not bad at all.

$45 isn't bad, but in the early 2000's it was under $20. They really started hosing people the past few years.Automatik;1257779 wrote:$45 for an all day music festival is not bad at all.

Yeah when I went in 2009 I think I paid...$25? So $45 wouldn't be that bad but they haven't done anything to improve ticket prices by nearly double.queencitybuckeye;1257796 wrote:The going rate was $15 back when I was going to these kinds of things, shortly after the Earth cooled (mid-70s). $45 seems pretty reasonable in today's dollars.
