So, will we score a run tonight? It'd be a shame to get one now, we're halfway to getting shutout for the series, let's make it happen.

Would have loved to have gone to the game tonite--figured it would be a classic confrontation. But--just couldn't get tickets---must have been another sell out. I'll need to get season tickets for next year---don't want to miss out like this again. Next year at this time likely to be in a tight pennant race!

Tribe offense comes alive pummeling Oakland pitching for 7 hits and 4 runs! Pitching couldn't quite get the job done however on a night in front of the wild sellout crowd--giving up 8 runs for the first time in over a week. On a positive not, Minnesota is drubbing Seattle, so we will likely pick up a game on the Twins for 5th place in the Central.
Cleveland will try to reverse this little lull when they send ace Masterson to the hill tomorrow night against the A's. It will be a challenging rest of the year for the Tribe as offensive team leader Duncan was designated for assignment today. Somehow we will have to find a way to replace his offensive numbers, which isn't going to be easy as we're pretty much limited to Tribe system players right now.

Even the Indians have standards....his batting average slipped from the .220's to .200!:p

but trading for a guy hitting .180 is perfectly acceptable!

...but, but, but...he can play a lot of positions(mediocrely)...and can give our .220 hitters a rest.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say we lose today......I have completely tuned out the Indians since that win over Detroit which seems like many many years ago!

I am really shocked and saddened that the team is now 20 games under .500 at this point. I really didn't expect that.

11-35 since the all-star break, 5-23 in August.

Probably a top 10 worst month in MLB history with a loss tomorrow (not top 5 though, Houston cracked that last month with a 3-24 July).

Oakland is 61-35 with Cespedes in the lineup.

We opted for Fausto and Sizemore instead.

Grady is hitting just as well as the rest of the team currently.
