With How going 163 internationally, 174 is about right. Those guys guy mad water weight. I don't know if Caldwell is at 165 for them, but I assume he is. I can't see Caldwell beating a healthy Andrew Howe. Now you've got heavy favorites at 157 (Dake), 165 (Taylor), 174 (Howe) and 184 (Ruth). Throw in 125 (McDonough) and 133 (Stieber) and you have six of ten "sure things". Of course it never works out that way, but who out of that group do you see losing?
BTW, I could hardly move this morning.

But, as you mentioned, it probably won't work out that way.

My shoulders are still sore. Probably from being planted in the mat for just about 5 minutes total by young Sepeda. Maybe next time I'll ask him to take it easy on me!

That four-man group has me wanting to get my weight down so we can really go at it. Can't wait until next week. See you then.

Cruiser...I saw that it was in my inbox, but I haven't opened it up yet. I'm teaching America's youth at the moment. Well, not right at this moment because at this moment I'm on Chatter when I shouldn't be.

You owe me no explanation or apology!!! You and your son are awesome and I'm glad you've chosen to stop out to our open mat at all, let alone the three or four times you've made it. But, if you're willing and able next week, I say great!!!!!! See you then.

There's a chance we have a new mat before the season starts!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
This is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A TON!!!!!! of work put in by my brother and a few other individuals to make this a reality. I have to think thousands of man-hours, vision and sacrifice. For a lot of districts, they ask, a deal gets worked out, and new mats come. Not so fast at the Port. We've asked for things and received them before, but not like this.
When Dollamur mats came on the market, our junior high program and high school program received one apiece. That was early 2000's, perhaps 1999. But our practice mats have been the same since 1972 and 1984. About the only really cool thing we can say about those mats is that the likes of Alan Fried, Luke Fickell, most of the DiSabato's, and a whole host of other greats won state championship on them. But to practice on them day in and day out, at some point, safety becomes and issue.
Anywho, I'm excited.

If you go to one open mat this week, go to the Ohio Capitals Wrestling Club open mat on Monday night, 6:45-8:15p, hosted by Hilliard Darby. But if you go to two... Make the one closest to your house that open mat. Let's face it... it makes sense.
But if you go to three, come join us at our open mat, at Groveport Madison Middle School North! Enter through the back!
