Can't let up for an instant! Now that the Cards have the lead, they'll use their "good" relief pitchers in the 6th and 7th rather than the "bad" ones they would have used if they had trailed in the 6th and 7th!Terry_Tate;1254314 wrote:WTF? Such a disappointing outing by the Reds tonight. Started out good but got bad in a hurry.

Cards pitchers in the 6th and 7th, after they had the 6 run inning, -- 5 Ks and 6 batters faced(Kd the first 5!).

Bruce with a perfect throw to 3rd in a strong bid to get Jay tagging from 3rd, but Rolen fails to make a very tough play with the ball and the runner coming in on the same line.

Line score shows Cards had 2 errors and Reds 0, but I think defense hurt the Reds more as neither Cards error figured in any scoring, where as the Reds miscue(not an error, but a Latos late cover of first to allow the first batter of the 6 run 6th to reach safely instead of being the first out) probably cost them dearly as they went from 3 up to 3 down in that half inning.
