Tom Hanks by far, but even though he's not the greatest actual actor I do like a lot of Mark Wahlberg's movies.

Of late, I've been a big fan of Tom Hardy. Went back and watched some lesser known movies of his, he was awesome in Bronson. Crazy movie, but he played it well. Looking forward to Lawless.

A damn fine list.

Also, George Clooney is wildly overrated.

This list will be more current. If I did an all-time, it would probably be much different. Also weighted big time for ability to do multiple roles and not being typecasted.

In no order:
1. Ed Norton
2. Leo DicCaprio
3. Denzel Washington
4. DDL
5. Jeff Bridges
6. Matt Damon
7. Ryan Gosling
8. Phillip Seymour Hoffman
9. Christian Bale
10. Robert DeNiro

HM - John Malkovich; guy steals almost every scene he is ever in. But he hasnt had a lead in forever, and a ton of his movies are very small parts these days.

I respectfully disagree. I think "bitter fat man" when I think of PSH.

He cant help his weight. But he doesnt play bitter in every role. The only reason I was hesitant to put him on here is a lack of leading roles. But Doubt and Capote were enough in the end. He brings a ton in his small roles of bigger pictures. Often sends them from good to great because of his supporting role. Or terrible to watchable (Along Came Polly lol).

Movie was bad, but it had little to do with DiCaprio. In fact, everything about the movie was horribly done. Its only redeeming quality WAS the acting.

Too many to list. It is kind of funny, I could list many actors, but I would have a difficult time coming up with a list of actresses.

With that being said, I have to put DDL out there. My favorite actor.
