It's amazing Cueto has 16 wins. Dusty always seems to give him shit lineups. I guess that's what you get when you're the Ace.

Cueto sucks. Dusty sucks. Reds lose 11-0.

I think it's actually smart to rest guys tonight. Huge series that can bury St. Louis this weekend. Getaway day, ace on the mound, already won 2 of 3...

Today's "weak" lineup actually has some merit behind it...

You're right and I agree with that. I just hate watching this lineup play.

I said before this series started that if we won 2 games I'd be pumped. So I'll try to just relax and watch this one

Cozart and Stubbs have very good ABs to start the game in the rain. Both result in ground singles in the 5.5 hole and they used a total of 12 of Hamels' pitches on 6 pitch ABs. However Bruce follows with a K, so Ludwick the RH hitter's AB will be key to the inning!

And Hamels pitches around Ludwick to make the bases loaded with one out and puts it up to Frazier. He's trying to get to Cairo and Valdez!

Very good half inning for the Reds making Hamels work.

I'll take it. Would have been nice in Cairo was faster.. But made hamels work the whole inning. Well other then Bruce.

Frandsen had a brain cramp(after being out there for 30 pitches and enduring the rain he played it like he thought there were two out) in favor of the Reds, and they lead 1-0 on a good AB by Frazier after a terrible job on pitch #1! Reds get a lead taking run, avoid defense in the rain, and use up 34 of Hamels' pitches.

Cueto mows through the first 5 guys in the lineup. Struggles with 6,7,8. But gets out of it.

Stubbs hesitation out of the box on the grounder down the 3rd base line may have saved a bad collision at first base and/or cost him a hit.

Johnny's front shoulder flying open tonight - costs him a BB and a HBP and two on and one out in the 3rd, and Utley up.

Stubbs and Hanigan save the run on Utley's single to CF! Perfect example of blocking the plate with the ball, giving enough time to apply the tag.

Cueto dancing around the zone way too much. Doesn't have good command tonight

Johnny gets ahead 0-2 on the change-up. Needs to get Howard and get out of the inning on an up and in tailing FB. Ends up getting him on the change. I guess he's saving what I thought for the next AB vs. Howard.

I'd take Cueto out. 97 pitches through 5. I don't wanna see him throwing 120 pitches.
