True, Ohio State haters forget that Ohio State is 4-3 in BCS bowls...kind of like Tressel nuthuggers forget Ohio State is 0-3 in their past 3 BCS bowls. It goes both ways.sleeper wrote: Soon to be 5-3

You forgot to add by wide margins and that 2 of the 3 were not just BCS games but the NC game.trep14 wrote:True, Ohio State haters forget that Ohio State is 4-3 in BCS bowls...kind of like Tressel nuthuggers forget Ohio State is 0-3 in their past 3 BCS bowls. It goes both ways.
Generally 4-3 in BCS games would be considered respectable, but the last few results don't give me confident warm fuzzies going into Pasadena.
A Buckeye victory over Oregon would change that a little but OSU's Rose Bowl visits in the past 30+ seasons have not made the flight from LAX to CMH any shorter.

How does it go both ways? The overall OSU BCS bowl record is 4-3. How exactly does the last 3 BCS games have any bearing whatsoever on the fact that OSU is 4-3 overall?trep14 wrote:True, Ohio State haters forget that Ohio State is 4-3 in BCS bowls...kind of like Tressel nuthuggers forget Ohio State is 0-3 in their past 3 BCS bowls. Yes, OSU has lost the last 3 BCS bowls they have played in. They won the first 4, 3 under Tressel.
We know you dislike Tressel, but not sure what the point of your post is?
He's won 6 of 9 Big 10 titles, 5 straight (since we are bringing in moot points) and has a national title and 3 BCS wins under his belt.
Pretty good if you ask me.
As to the thread, I agree. I think we win and will be 5-3.

The Buckeyes won the last time they played in a Rose Bowl, so it's not all that bad.believer wrote:You forgot to add by wide margins and that 2 of the 3 were not just BCS games but the NC game.trep14 wrote:True, Ohio State haters forget that Ohio State is 4-3 in BCS bowls...kind of like Tressel nuthuggers forget Ohio State is 0-3 in their past 3 BCS bowls. I'll take 4-3 and SOON to be 5-3.
You cannot win them all but I'll take 5 BCS Bowl victories including 1 NC over 90% of the other BCS conference teams BCS resumes.

I'm not complaining about our BCS record but ESPN always has to have someone to hate on. And 'nuthuggers' is my new favorite word LOL.

tOSU also has the most BCS appearances of any team. I'll take that and a potential 5-3 record any day over what some other teams have done.devil1197 wrote: I'll take 4-3 and SOON to be 5-3.

OSU has lost 3 BCS games in a row, Thoughts? (my thoughts.....soon to be 4 losses after Oregon clown stomps them)

Ohio State has the most appearances in the BCS, while LSU is not so much. Les Miles will be again watching the BCS games on his TV.
