Someone killed Kentavious Ballard Sunday. His two brothers were murdered in 2000 and 2001.
"He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time," said Janice Ballard-Dean
Ballard-Dean said that's been the case for three of her four children.

The most recent slaying happened early Sunday morning when police said Kentavious Ballard, 30, and a friend were walking through Atlanta's Central Park when two men approached them.
Police asked Channel 2 Action News not to identify his friend.
"He said, 'What y'all looking at?' and he turned and pow, pow, pow! And that's when we fell on the ground," said his unidentified friend.
I think you're implying that they made bad decisions or ran with the wrong crowd, which is possible. But one of them was shot while walking in the park in the morning and the other was shot while being robbed. Perhaps there is more to it than that but it's also possible that they were innocent.One year later on Dec. 24, 2001, Janice Ballard-Dean said someone robbed and shot her other son, Xavier, in DeKalb County.
I just don't think the article is very clear. Doesn't mention any criminal record for any of the brothers but I can see that being left out. that being said these guys look like bangers to me. i also know lots of families of students ive had over the years that have up to 5-6 brothers who are all locked up or dead. its def a pattern w some families
