My apologies. You were right. A bunch of stuff being talked about with an investigation. When I looked up stuff after your post, I could only find where the Miss St WR coach resigned. But, people were thinking he did a Petrino, lol. Recruiting is being investigated.

Last year, most college football analyst were saying USC was the most dangerous team. Their offense with Woods and Barkley were amazing late. The defense, yes thin, was still pretty solid.

Did you even watch them at all late last year?
There is football outside the SEC.......

Thinking USC is overrated and not a title contender this year shows no understanding of college football.
Giving up 29 points to a nobody still shows USC cant/wont hang with the SEC. They have an offense, but their offense would do little vs an Bama/LSU defense. Their defense would get ran over by LSU/Bama's stables of RB's.
And oh yeah.....your earlier posts acting like Wash will be a tough game and their QB is so good. Might want to look at his stats vs a real team (today).;)

One thing I find hilarious about the SEC circle jerk....

In the SEC terrible QB play = great defense
In the Big 12/Pac12 Great QB play = terrible defense

What has the SEC done to the high scoring teams from other conferences in title games? Share some more knowledge with us. :p

Let's take a look at the last 6, since that's when the domination started.

2006- A fat, out of shape, Troy Smith
2007- A statue Todd Boekman (OSU really had no business being there)
2008- Good game, Florida didn't really dominate Oklahoma, just beat them
2009- Colt McCoy knocked out of the game in the first quarter, and a freshman comes in (who transferred after being benched and is now at SMU) keeps them in the game.
2010- Pretty evenly matched. If you say Auburn shut down Oregon, then Oregon did the same to Auburn's amazing offense)
2011- Please.

I hate agreeing with CGW, but the SEC has generally done a really good job in all games of making great college QBs just average.

You're not giving Florida in 2008 any credit for completely shutting down Sam Bradford and an offense that scored 45 points a game.

Touchè, I'll concede 2008 Florida v. Oklahoma. I'll admit that was a stretch on my part.

USC would definitely score points on lsu and bama. It's not just Barkley. You have lee and woods who honestly could be the best wrs in college football. And silas redd helps also. Now there d isn't very good but good luck stopping that offense

You might want to add LSU holding the really high scoring Oklahoma team to 14 points in 2003 also. Basically, the SEC held teams averaging 40's and 50's a game to an average of points in the teens.

Isn't that the same team that got blasted by colorado in the big 12 championship game but yet some how made it to the national title game?

You mean the same Oklahoma team that backed into the BCS Championship Game after being smashed 35-7 in the Big XII Title Game?

They would score some points, but you would be out of your mind if you think they could score alot against LSU/bama's defenses. And they would simply get worn out from LSU/Bamas running game for 4 quarters with no depth. LSU and Bama would beat them by double digits with no problem.

Do it yourself. You know both OK teams scored that high, OSU's 2006 team did, Oregon did. Prove me wrong if you think Im wrong instead of spouting off like always. And yes, the SEC teams held them to the teens in most games, and the highest they allowed was 24 to OSU.

Fixed for accuracy. You're welcome.

No, the team you're thinking about is the Nebraska team that got KILLED in the regular season finale vs. Colorado then went on to lose to Miami in 2001 I believe.
