I'm wondering if anyone else has boycotted ESPN like I have. For the last two weeks I haven't even been able to put it on. This is by far my favorite channel and it's always on when I'm home. Since this whole Tiger Woods scandal came out it has been the most miserable channel on TV. It seems like they have no material to cover other than this story. Same is the case with Brett Favre every time he decides to retire and return to the NFL.

To me, ESPN and our shitty media in America is doing nothing but running the greatest golfer to ever live right out of the game. The man has enough money to live off for the rest of his life easily. He continues to play for the love of the game and the fact that he wants to break all of the records. I'm really hoping, as a fan, that Tiger does not give in to this media bullshit and stop playing the game that most of us enjoy watching him play so much. It's really time to let this whole thing die, IMO.

Do people not recall what the media can do to somebody when they cover them non-stop? Granted the situation isn't the same, but Brittany Spears went through all of this media garbage and everyone knows what happened there. How much can a person really take?

Anyway, I just wanted to say that. This coming from someone who really wants to see Tiger back out on the golf course. His personal life isn't my business. I, in no way condone what he did, but his personal life is his business. I just like watching the guy kick ass on the golf course.

Tiger obviously has no morals at all. I have lost all respect for him. If he did not want to married anymore then discuss it in private with your wife. But to have 10,12 whatever mistresses on the side. Thats low. I hope he finds the Lord and asks for forgiveness as he needs the Lords guidance right now.

The only time I don't watch SC is when Chris Berman is doing the Blitz. It's bad enough that he has those stupid nicknames, but the fact that they run the Blitz segment at least 10 times during a single broadcast is over the top for me.

If being a public figure is great when things are good, one has to live with the consequences of it when things are bad. If he wants privacy like the rest of us, he can live like the rest of us. I don't understand what you mean. I said his personal life is none of my or anyone else's business. When things are good OR bad. When things were going well with him we never heard any of his personal matters... and we shouldn't.

I just think it's a shame that quite possibly the most talented sportsman (don't want to say athlete for risk of another heated debate) that we've seen in our lifetimes is being run out of the sport because of our media. It's a joke and I find it pretty disgusting.

He did try to live like the rest of us. He banged every chick that dropped her pants for him, and when he wasn't around to bang them, he was "sexting" them. Living like the average person is what got him into this mess. Aside from that shit, Tiger has always been an ass off the course. Yes, I think what Tiger did was wrong. I'm a fan of his golf game. There isn't a golfer out there as exciting as Tiger, IMO. Do I think that he lost a lot of fans because of what he did? I'd be a fool not to believe that because he has.

People should and will always remember this because it's something that is looked down upon in our society. But I would love more than anything for him (if the media and everyone else will allow it) to put all of this crap behind him and get back to doing what he does best.

LOL Little Danny beat me to this....Tiger has done well playing golf, but he made his unimaginable wealth off his endorsements. My uneducated guess is his endorsement returns are about 10X what his golf winning are, especially when he gives Steve Williams a cut of that.

below is where I got that idea. You fear that because of the media, Tiger will grow tired of the attention will just quit. The irony here is that if Tiger could have kept it in his pants the media would have nothing to say about him
