I agree completely. That's exactly why I leave it alone to unless there is a clear violation or someone reports something.

Seriously, all I did was try to do as little as possible and keep everyone's ass out of the fire. Hell, I volunteered an alternative to handing out infractions, because they're active members who normally aren't trolling and are adding good content.
Hell I didn't even thread ban anybody. I just removed a few posts that would have gotten them in trouble.
And now I'm getting dragged over the coals for it.

I love how all I did is try to explain why the thread was cleaned up, then they attack me, and I'm supposed to just sit back and take it? Its a basement thread. Fuck that, fuck them.

I'm just trying to get EVERYBODY back into their corners for a timeout. Once we all take a deep breath, I think we'll be able to reason with each other.
They've been taking pot shots at me, too, but I know they're doing it in the heat of the moment, so it's no good attacking them back. Part of being thick-skinned is being able to take people saying mean things about you.

Whatever you want to think. I have many more important things going on right now and with my wife being pregnant I've realized what is and isn't important to me, and arguing with random people on the internet is not important and actually just pretty damn stupid. Plus, with the way Justin wants the site cleaned up, moderators can't go around getting into those petty little arguments. I looked through the one I posted on. GoChiefs, you need to be a little less aggressive when responding in the HS forum. It's fine to try and get things under control, just don't stoop to the level of those you need to "corral." Just let them know why posts were moderated and move on. If they ask questions just give them a direct answer.
