Someone is going to gain at least a game, may as well be the Redlegs!

Interested to see if Bruce starts tonight against Wandy.

Brings back memories of the awesome Reds-Pirates rivalry in the 70's. The Lumber Company vs. The Big Red Machine. Hopefully the Bucs can take 2 out of 3 and I"ll be happy.

Go Bucs!!

Pirates move Burnett up to Sunday.

Reds could get swept and still be in first.

Still a huge series that will feel like a playoff atmosphere.

Yea. Sucks to get old. I was a kid. Stargell was/is my all time favorite player, hence my avatar.

I don't see a sweep by either team. Would love to see the Bucs take tonight's game and get the series off to a good start.

Yes. Tweet I saw was Marty said that they got it, but he wasn't sure of the exact figure.

If you would have told me that was our lineup in May without Votto, Phillips, and Bruce I would have went son of a bitch, there's a no hitter.

Now? I could see 6-8 runs out of that lineup, and it doesn't look too bad.

Close play at the plate. Real close.

Was McCutchen loafing on the Heisey HR, or was he in good position and the hard bounce off the wall back toward CF caused him to have to back-track hard toward CF to get it?

Ended up being a lot closer than I thought it would be. I'm way too high to know if he was safe or out though.

An 0-2 pitch-out results in its intended purpose, getting McCutchen out stealing for the final out of the 4th. 56 pitches for Latos.
