Arroyo vs. Wells
Reds really need to finish off this series with 2 wins before the big weekend series.
I'll be attending my first game at GABP tonight. We're gonna scalp some tix, so not sure where we'll be sitting yet.

First ever?
Hell...just buy the cheap seats and sit wherever.
On an economical note.......in the upper deck down teh first base line there is a dollar hot dog and pop stand. We, and many others, stock up on those things and save lots of money. A tip though...go before the game as it gets b u s y and ya could miss 2 innings waiting in line! I have seen guys get 30-40 at a time an dput them in a box

And the dollar dogs are the best. Sucks they took away the stand on the bottom level. The new one never has anyone there so hopefully they bring it back. 3 hot dogs and 2 drinks and I'm good.

Unfortunately we probably won't get there until about 6:45 if we're lucky. I'm going with my buddy and his 3 year old son. Odds are we won't be "sitting" anywhere for very long. Plan on watching some of the game and just kinda checking everything out.

Mez has been suspended 3 games and fined.

Meso gets 3 games and a fine. If they don't appeal then he doesn't miss a start, but they still need a backup catcher.

The new one? To my knowledge they have just the one now, upper deck, the last stand down the first base line, and if you try to go during the game....good luck. Before the game and early on is best. Last game I missed 1.5 innings of the game. LUckily I was with the my inlaws.Terry_Tate;1238598 wrote:And the dollar dogs are the best. Sucks they took away the stand on the bottom level. Buy cheap seats for what you are doing....the $1 stuff isn't worth the wait IMO....not for how much game you miss and it's location.
Sit somewhere on 1st base side early....check out the sun deck in the middle innings at some point.

Yeah, they are down to just the one way up top. Last year they had one where the Food Network place now is, but I was by there last night and there wasn't one person in line. Hopefully they bring it back next year, it has to be hell running that one upstairs.

Mesoraco will appeal any suspension and will be active tonight. Not sure how often players win their appeals but thought it could set up nicely since he wouldn't miss a start. Reds would just need to make a move to bring up a backup catcher though.

Should serve it now. He won't catch the next 3 starters.

That's what I thought too. Get it out of the way, wont have it as a distraction later on, and wont miss a start. Will be rough if its upheld and he has to miss a Leake and Bailey start.

7 day DL is for concussions. What in the world was he doing playing last night if he had a concussion? Surely a concussion doesn't pop-up after more than 24 hrs from the hit! Were the Reds trainers duly dilligent in giving him the tests? Did he pass for Tuesdays game, and flunk for tonight's?
