Touchy bunch here. Hope Brock gets the Illini offer. Be nice to have some more Illini fans in the area. And I have not been to a bball game vs WH in years and couldn't even have told you what position he played in football prior to talking with Illini recruiter at Spring game. I guess that's my poor job of scouting the knights showingup. And that's the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

All West Holmes fans should be smiling.
...
All Tuslaw and Waynedale fans should be worrying.

Of the 3 teams there, WH should have dominated, and they did. However, lots of mistakes on both sides of the ball need corrected. Film session tomorrow will be rather intense!!

WH scored 7 times on the night while not giving up a score. Ran the ball well, threw the ball well, and made plays on defense. But neither team we faced had many weapons to stretch us or push us. Great night for football!!

As 300 said, it was a solid night. When the first team offense was in for 3 series, we scored 8 times in 30 plays. Perone scored 4 times, Ogi twice, Mackey once, and Arnold once. Also the defense 1's did not give up a score to either team. Waynedale scored twice on the 2"s, not sure about Tuslaw. The offense was clicking well for this early in the season but we did have some missed blocking assignments occasionaly. Macaulay had a couple of nice catches and was driving guys back 15 yards or more many times. The defense was solid, bending a little more than I would have liked, but needs some work yet. Overall it went as it should have. Next week will be a little different with Westerville. Good job tonight knights.
