That was a terrible call. And I'm even more pissed Dusty just sat there chewing away on his stick.

Scotty!

And Stubbs scored. That means this one is over.

Scotty saves the insurance run, but really saved the tying run who would have scored on the next hit if Scotty didn't make that play on the liner earmarked for another double down the line.

Son of a bitch. That was pathetic defense in the infield.

Edit: terrible throw by Ludwick then an awful infield throw. Doesn't happen often by the Reds defense.

Do you think Dusty would have left Ondrusek out there that long if this game was for the series rubber game instead of the sweep and/or if the Reds had won only 3 of the last 10 games?

Easy to 2nd guess, but probably wouldn't trot Ondrusek out there the same day he was involved in trade discussions

In typical Reds fashion, no movement from a lead-off double by the next batter!

I think John Fay is right on the money with this quote:

"–My guess is Reds are nowhere close to where they are right now if Francisco Cordero had taken the contract offer at the end of last year. Cordero melted down the ninth. He was traded to Houston five days ago after struggling mightily in Toronto."

Anyone remember what the Reds were offering Coco for this season?
